A first-time member of the House elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress , reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday, October 11, after a brief illness at the age of 63.
The letter reads in part: “We surely belong to Allah and to him we shall return. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our colleague, Hon. Abdulkadir Jalani Danbuga who died in the early hours of today, 11th July, 2023 after a brief illness in Abuja.“He was until his death the member representing Isa/Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto state. He will be buried today in Sokoto according to Islamic rights. May Allah forgive him.
“We commensurate with the family, his constituency, Sokoto state, our colleagues from the north, and the Muslim community. This is not a good day for the House. He toiled to win the election. “I hope that when we are called back we will be able to say to our maker that we came and we served and I hope He will be able to tell us well done. Let us serve with care and humility knowing that we will give account of our service”.
