Thunderstorm kills seven cows in Osun

Thunderstorm on Tuesday killed seven cows in Elepo Village, Ifon Osun, Orolu Local Government Area of Osun State.The cows were struck by lightning inside their ranches.Seven big cows were the victim of lightning and the owner has been charged to burn them.Confirming the incident, the Sheriki of Fulani Community, Osun State, Suliaman Oloruntoyin confirmed the incident to our correspondent describing it as unfortunate and sad.

He said the cows were killed as a result of the thunder that struck the place they were kept at the early hours of Tuesday. “The owner of the cow is one Alhaji Abdullahi and we have commenced investigation to the cause of the unpleasant incident,” he ended.
