The Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports Development said the dilapidated conditions of some of the orientation camps need to be rectified because they affect the security and welfare of corps members.

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps , Shuaibu Ibrahim, has urged Nigerians and corporate bodies to stop interfering in the posting of corps members for primary assignments.

The director-general said the scheme recognised the need to enlighten Nigerians on the Act and the aspects of its operations. He appealed to state governments to make the necessary facilities available to ensure the comfort of the corps members deployed to their states. Mr Gowon, who was represented by the first Director-General of NYSC, Ahmadu Ali, recommended that the workshop should not be limited to Abuja alone.“It should be taken to the grassroots, state and local governments, where the bulk of the stakeholders will be reached”, he said.

So officialnyscng can send them to Sambisa? Heck no. Time to scrap it

With the insecurity in the country why not ?

Are saying nobody posted Precious Owolabi to channels TV for as his PPA?

The incessant interference has defeated the actual purpose of the entire mandatory one year service to our father land. Yes, I concur with this development.

Story. So who posted Yusuf Buhari to Abuja and how many people saw him in camp?

So u can keep sending. Them to the grave by. Shiite and Boko Haram

Well well... in NYSC defence, they do well to do automatic redeployment for anyone posted to parts where there are crisis. My only problem is those who get relocation of DG's directive biko who's signing it?😑

Odiegwu

You want us to fold our hands and watch you guys post Southerners to dangerous part of the North they created by themselves. That's a lie.
