The Nigeria Premier Football League matchday seven fixture between Sporting Lagos and Kano Pillars has been postponed, DAILY POST reports. The match was earlier scheduled for Sunday, October 5, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan. It will now be held on Monday, October 6, at the same venue.

Sporting Lagos announced that the rescheduling was due to an unforeseen time conflict at the stadium.

The modest club have decided to throw the gate open for fans to come and support the team. Sporting Lagos will face the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions for the first time in their history. Paul Offor's side occupy ninth position on the table with eight points.
