Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor has expressed delight with his players' character in their 2-1 away defeat to Kwara United. Sporting Lagos suffered their second away defeat at the Kwara State Sports Complex on Wednesday. The modest club have netted twice in their three games played away from home.

Offor opined that the players have discovered the confidence of scoring goals in away games. The young tactician appreciated the fans for the support during the midweek fixture in Ilorin.

'I like the fact that we are going away and we are scoring goals and we showed our performance in the game,' he stated in a post-match interview. 'Our game is all about the fans. We are excited they came out to support us in Ilorin.' Sporting Lagos dropped to ninth position on the table.
