“Education makes people who they are supposed to be, stem violence and crimes across the world while lifting people’s standard of life.” Nigeria Education SultanOfSokoto

Chairman, Northern Traditional Rulers Council and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has urged the Federal government to lift the standard of education and quality of teachers, saying good teachers will ensure quality education in the country.

He stated this in Kaduna yesterday while presiding over the sixth General Assembly of the Northern Traditional Rulers Council. The Sultan said, “Education makes people who they are supposed to be, stem violence and crimes across the world, while lifting people’s standard of life.” He also stated that monarchs from the region were not in conflict or at war with government at all levels, adding that the interest of the traditional institution was to ensure the overall development of the Northern region in particular and Nigeria in general.

Education moulds and transforms. The individual is worked on,prepared to work on the society. It would be an antidote to violence if it is so used. With children education neglected, character formation downplayed in schools,so much concern about money etc, quality & society suffers

But buhari believes otherwise. We all must be farmers with hoes and matchets! So we can have sufficient rice to export.

Yet you prefer churning out almagiris instead of educated people
