Presidency can’t hoodwink Deltans to vote Ogboru – Ogorugba vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

President Mohammadu Buhari and Chief Great Ogboru APC Delta State Gubernatorial Candidate during the APC Presidential rally held at the Warri City Stadium , Delta State , Wednesday.

Reacting to the visit of the Vice President for a town hall meeting held at Effurun, Ogorugba said the APC cannot withstand the PDP in the gubernatorial polls, reiterating that “No external forces including the presidency can determine who governs Delta. “It is only Deltans that will vote for the governor of their choice and they have made up their minds to vote massively for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.“No amount of intimidation with this visit of the Vice President can make Deltans change their minds on their collective resolve to vote for Okowa for equity and continuation of good governance.”

He condemned claims by the House of Representatives candidate of APC in the Isoko Federal constituency in just concluded National Assembly election, Mr Joel Onowakpo-Thomos that electoral materials were hijacked in Okpe-Isoko and Oyede communities. “These are all lies. He knows full well that free and fair election was held in Okpe-Isoko and Oyede where he lost,” he said.
