The Rivers State Police Command has faulted the claim that the abandoned Elele-Alimini General Hospital, belonging to the state government, has been converted to a mortuary used by kidnappers in keeping their dead victims.

The Chairman of Emohua Local Government in Rivers, Chidi Lloyd, had said the council uncovered an illegal mortuary at the hospital where kidnappers abandoned their dead victims. Iringe-Koko noted that its investigation revealed that the mortuary was being operated by some contract staff members of the mortuary department of the hospital who were laid off by the government when the facility was closed.

Somebody in government was involved

Who is monitoring or supervising the activities of these 'laid off staff' ? If the hospital was shut down 10years ago, so the staff can care for the corpse in the mortuary then, are those corpse of 10years ago still there?

Nigeria police and their lies. How can anyone possibly stayed back to render to corpse deposited 10 years ago. Who is paying the mortuary attendant for his service and who deposited the remain of their family member in the mortuary?
