Nigerian governors say they want to mediate in the dispute between the federal government on the hike in fuel prices and electricity tariffs.

the hike in petrol and electricity prices, state governors will hold an emergency meeting today to attempt to halt the action.

Mr Bello-Barkindo said the NGF at the meeting would attempt to mediate in the dispute between the federal government and the organised labour over the hikes. NLC took its position after a meeting with the federal government on the issue last week ended in a deadlock.
