Consequently, the two chambers of the National Assembly set up the harmonisation committee to address the differences. The Senate version of section 38 of the bill calls for the dissolution of the existing Peace Corps of Nigeria and the National Unity and Peace Corps. But the House version provides for the transformation of the existing Peace Corps into the new entity.Presenting the synopsis of the report, Mr Babangida stated that the harmonisation committee met and resolved to go with the position of the House on section 38.
