Other party chieftains at the meeting, held in Port Harcourt, yesterday, included former PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus; former Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru; former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Austin Okpara; Celestine Omehia, Gloria Emeh, Emmah Okah, women leaders, youths and many others.
“The FCT minister has threatened publicly to destabilise the peace in Rivers State. The President has a duty to caution him. We, the Rivers people will not stand by while an individual decides that we will not sleep with our two eyes closed. The Holy Book says: ‘He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind’. If Wike troubles Rivers people, he shall surely inherit the wind.”
Stakeholders in agriculture standardisation and grading system have begun a validation exercise on the draft policy framework on standard grading system to ensure the sector complies with standards globally.
