Outrage as rape cases rise in Nigeria

My daughter’s death shouldn’t be in vain – Uwa’s father“There was a very big cut on one part of her head and another one near her eyes. I started crying. Who did this to me? If I had offended anybody, why should they take it on my daughter? Even if her father offended anybody, he did not say he would pay with his daughter’s life. If the person had come to tell me, I would have begged him or her.

The incidences of rape in Nigeria seem unending. Rape is a high violation of human right. A victim could be male or female. Rape is evil in totality &has no underlying cause. It is intentionally done by rapists. The victim is never the cause of any rape incident.StopRaping

Doctors, pastors, imams, traditional leaders everybody must be included in this research to get to the root of it

The current trend of rape in our clime demands an indepth psychological research. This isn't normal at all. I remembered when there were cases of women been rubbed of their pants in the Eastern part of the country 2 years ago now it is finally rape.

So outrageous

Who is raping who

Hmm

I think it's the reporting and awareness that is rising. It used to be a taboo subject especially for the female folks.

Nope.. Rape has been rampant in Nigeria since forever. It is only getting media attention now so it seems like it is ‘rising’.. Women are finally taking a stand!! End Rape Now!!!
