Ortom who made the call yesterday while fielding questions from journalists on the insecurity that has bedeviled the state, maintained that due to the intelligence report available to him it was discovered that the hostilities in Katsina-Ala town and environs were the hand work of criminal elements, intimating that the kinsmen of Benue notorious wanted militia, Terwase Akwaza alias Gana during the stakeholders meeting last Thursday denounced him and asked government to act fast in arresting him.
Commenting on the other acts of criminalities going on in the state, Ortom assured that his administration would step up collaboration with security agencies to ensure the full implementation of the state kidnapping and cultism laws.
The governor further dismissed insinuations that he restated the sacked coordinator of Livestock Guard in the state; informing that the new leadership is still in place.
