The Chief Medical Director Benue State University Teaching Hospital , Prof Terrumun Swende has debunked claims that the tertiary healthcare centre has been sinking in the past few years. He said rather the hospital has been rated higher in healthcare delivery among teaching hospitals in the country.

He said under his leadership, the facility conducts hip replacement surgery for N60,000 as social service to the people while children patients are made to pay half of medical bills.
