Obiora, who spoke to The Guardian in Awka, Anambra State yesterday, pointed out that the intention of the youth body stemmed from the purported unrealistic approach of the South East governors, which he said, was affecting the Igbo negatively.
“Our determination to come up with Operation Ogbunigwe is a foregone conclusion, even if the governors still delay its commencement. We need to set up a security network in the South East zone to fortify and give the Igbo advantage in free trade,” he stated. He said the youths, as foot soldiers of the parent body and Imeobi Ohanaeze-Ndigbo, would work to protect the ideology, constitution and implement most of the decisions of the groups.
