A former Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Mr Oseloka Obaze, speaks with TONY OKAFOR on the rising insecurity and the need to establish regional security outfit in the South-East, among other issuesdo you think the South-East governors are delaying the establishment of a central security outfit for the region?

Perhaps not, but it will enhance the overall security and give the local population peace of mind. The goal is to undertake measures that will enhance the efficacy of existing security architecture and solve existing problems. Whatever security arrangements we have in place presently are not working efficiently. But if improving on them means each geopolitical zone or each federating unit being allowed to pick what works best for them on security, then, so be it.

The PDP has said it is not going to zone the governorship ticket for the Anambra 2021 election to any zone. If that is the case, will you be vying for the governorship slot? I am sufficiently not to second-guess the esteemed Governor of Kaduna State. I don’t always agree with him, but I respect him. In this instance, he seems to have hit the right chord. But circumspection is called for when dealing with strangers bearing gifts. In reality, however, anyone talking about power not shifting to the south in 2023 cannot be deemed serious and indeed, does not wish Nigeria well. That said, the south as a collective, has to be strategic in handling this matter.

This is the fool that got trounced blue black by Obiano. White hair does not make you a sage. And if Obi his mentor pairs with old Atiku again, then he too is a fool.

They claimed born to rule What have they achieved If they like let them rule Nigeria Forever They will still remain poor

Mtcheew

Sorry, the dead doesn't care..

These are the people who keep dividing the country with their political statements! How would it have sounded nice if he had said “if Mugola doesn’t play nice, he’ll loss to Atiku or Osinbajo in 2023 general elections”

Retention of power is not the problem but delivery of Democratic dividends. If Nigerians are well fed today, who will bother who is the president and his tribe.

South can never be united Yoruba people are never in one place, they always go front and backwards, they never stay true to there words

Raplox_Yabo If u are talking about atiku wining sory to disappoint you but atiku is igbo. Plus buhari needs to pay back to the south west so it's either osinbajo or the minister of darkness
