At least two teenagers have been reportedly arrested for allegedly stealing a newborn baby at Galawa area, Akuyam district of Misau local government area of Bauchi State. The suspects were identified as Hajara Usman (19) of Ishehi Hamlet and Ibrahim Usman, aged 18 years of Dugurgama community. It was learnt that the suspects intruded into the victim’s mother’s apartment, who recently gave birth and went away with the newborn baby.

Ahmed Mohammed Wakil confirmed the incident in a statement signed on Thursday, noting that, “On receipt of the report, a team of detectives were immediately mobilised and earnestly swung into action and eventually arrested the hoodlums.
