PDP made the remark while reviewing the last five years of Buhari’s administration. The opposition party described the administration as wasteful, corrupt, insensitive and incompetent. This was contained in a statement signed by PDP’s spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan.

3. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has said Nigeria’s economy is going into a state of depression. The governor said all the states are presently dealing with very difficult situation as they battle COVID-19 pandemic. El-Rufai said this while speaking with State House correspondents on Friday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

5. The remains of the late Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local government area of Rivers State, Odiari Princewill who died of coronavirus, have been exhumed. Late Princewill’s body was exhumed by gunmen suspected to be native of Buguma, his hometown. Eyewitnesses revealed that some gunmen stormed Port Harcourt cemetery, shot sporadically in the air, headed for the site where the late LGA Chairman was buried and dug-out the coffin.

7. The Niger-Delta Development Commission, NDDC has hinted that an autopsy is being conducted to ascertain the cause of the death of its former Acting Executive Director, Finance Ibanga Bassey Etang. Charles Odili, Director of Corporate Affairs, NDDC in a statement issued on Friday in Port Harcourt announcing the death of Eteng said the Late EDFA did not die of COVID-19 as suggested by many.
