Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has declared the activities of bandits in Nigeria as acts of terrorism.
M. B. Abubakar, Director of Public Prosecution , Federal Ministry of Justice, filed an ex-parte motion. The government told the court that bandits were responsible for several acts of criminality in different parts of the country. It mentioned, “kidnappings for ransom, kidnapping for marriage, mass abductions of school children and other citizens, cattle rustling, enslavement, imprisonment, severe deprivation of physical liberty, torture, rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, other forms of sexual violence, attacks and killings”.
This is acceptable by me, but can a kingdom fight against itself? That is the question.
Not the federal government that declared them terrorists but an incompetent court that has no power. We r watching. Zoological Republic. Forbidden forest.
Now Nigeria security agencies have no excuse again the road has been cleared for them, Nigeria military should now start killing bandits, burn their hideout and stop killing innocent Igbo youths whom their only crime is asking for self determination.
