According to the United Nation Population Fund’s 2019 State of the World Population report, Nigeria now has a population of 201 million people. UNPF Nigeria Population Africa

The United Nation Population Fund said in its 2019 State of the World Population report that Nigeria has a population of 201 million.

The country has witnessed a population growth from 54.7 million in 1969 to 105.4 million in 1994 and 201.0 million in 2019. The low percentage of those within the 65 and above age distribution is not entirely surprising with the life expectancy of Nigeria at a worrying 55 years old, one of the lowest across the world.

Who did the counting?

Huh..and some hall of fame baby boomers have not even started

The only thing making progress in Nigeria now is the population. Now at 201million? Those who think we are better off with this burden of uncontrolled procreation are morons.

As at today, another 10,000 babies are born. Tomorrow too same thing and it goes🤷‍♂️

They're not sure... Do your census first then give us the figure

Is someone listening? He’s too busy in London

Labour minister 'not worried' doctors leave Nigeria | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World NewsNigeria’s labour minister, Chris Ngige, in spite of an appalling doctor-patient ratio, says he is not worried about how medical doctors are leaving the country in large numbers, because Nigeria has a “surplus.” Nigeria Ngige DoctorsInNigeria The minister doesn't care about the citizenry. Infact, it looks like a saboteur to the present administration. There is a huge gap between the political elites and the people. Both are living in separate worlds. I have the feeling that Ngige always 'highs' himself each time he's invited to come to the studio, otherwise, he shouldn't be embarrassing himself as he just did.
