Nigeria and five other African countries have been chosen to begin production of their COVID-19 vaccine, with the continent having largely been shut out of access to jabs.

According to the WHO, they were selected as the first recipients of technology from the organisation’s global mRNA vaccine hub, in a push to ensure the African continent can make its own jabs to fight COVID and other diseases.

The best part is how, the news is been packaged by 😂😂 they started it with Nigeria, as if Nigeria was first considered 😂😂 Senegal has been producing vaccine since last month … this Nigeria that they as WHO considered for a long while before approving 😂

Can this actually be classified as good news? Just thinking aloud and bellyaching about its wider ramifications. 🙄

Nigeria should provide electricity for its citizens not vaccine.
