The music lecturer with a civil engineering qualification opens up about his life – past, present, and future with his latest EP.
“Life I Got is about my hustle before music and also the life that I have seen in my dreams that is yet to come. Life has been tough, when I was younger I thought life was just smooth, but I learned as I grew older that actually life is tough and I have got to live my dream now,” confesses Nhlonipho.
He adds: “With this EP, I want to give my fans a picture of where I’m coming from and where I’m heading… part of it is to heal people and give hope. The 6-track EP dabbles in Amapiano, Afro-Yano, and Private School Amapiano and showcases Nhlonipho’s weight in gold as a producer and why some of the industry’s heavy-weight musicians have sought him out such as Samthing Soweto, Ami Faku, Amanda Black, and Mthandazo Gatya just to highlight a few.
