The House of Representatives has asked the Central Bank of Nigeria to urgently put in place a policy to check further devaluation of the naira to the United States dollar and other international legal tenders. The House decried that while the Nigerian currency is losing value, others in Africa are gaining.

Salam recalled that Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, while addressing the Bankers’ Committee at a summit on the economy in Lagos earlier in February, informed the committee about the naira devaluation against the dollar.

The reps are insensitive about what is happening around them, the devaluation of naira have caused hardship in the country already. They need to strategize a way to make the economy work again, the problem is that the govt are yet to accept that the system is not working

Just imagine... inflation on top this matter? Are the prices of commodities not inflated enough already?

There is inflation already

While naira and dollar can’t be at equilibrium

Na today?

Can u imagine? It may? It has not already ni?

May cause or has caused? Something that has caused already and they are still there saying may cause. Are they so deficient in d use of modal Auxiliary verb and non-modal auxiliary verb that they now confuse d two? Or is d deficiency deliberate? We need to know

The country never broke already
