Represented by Emma Deekor, deputy director finance and account of N-SIP, the minister urged the participants to leverage on the training opportunity by using the skills to improve their economicShe said the training is in line with President Buhari’s avowed commitment to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years.
Mr Buhari, in his independence anniversary national broadcast, said he “remains confident that our goal of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years is achievable.” He said “considering the positive impact of our Social Investment Programme,” he had approved an increase in the number of N-Power programme beneficiaries from 500,000 to one million.
