Lalong pledges improved security, transport for UNIJOS students

Governor of Plateau State , Simon Lalong , on Thursday pledged to improve the security and transportation of students and staff of the University of Jos.

This was contained in a statement titled, ‘Governor Lalong Meets UNIJOS Pro-chancellor, PROF. JEGA, assures of enhanced security’, released by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Makut Macham.Jega told the Governor that the students need improved security to thrive well in their academic activities, adding the school was vulnerable during the recent attacks in the state .
