The Chairman, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Enugu State Chapter, Mr Ike Ugwu has gifted N1.08 million to one Mr. Ikenna Collins Ezeagbo. Ezeagbo, who hails from Opi in the Nsukka Local Government Area of the state was reported to have rejected Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's offer to be his Special Assistant (SA).

Man Who Rejected Offer Of Special Assistant Position From Enugu Governor, Ugwuanyi, Gets 1.08Million GiftEzeagbo rejected the appointment and reportedly attributed the rejection to the failure of the Peoples Democratic Party -led government in the state.The Chairman, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools , Enugu State Chapter, Mr Ike Ugwu has gifted N1.08 million to one Mr. Ikenna Collins Ezeagbo.

He said he rejected the governor's offer to protest against the denial of infrastructural facilities to his community.He said Ugwuanyi's administration abandoned the construction of Opi Agu Road despite several promises.He said, “Even when our elders, youths and others visited the governor at Government House to remind him of his promise to the community in 2021, he still did not do anything to date.
