The incident which happened on Saturday morning, involved a woman, her two children aged seven and four; and her two younger sisters.SaharaReporters gathered on Sunday morning that the five family members went to bed on Friday night but didn't come out on Saturday morning. Confirming the incident in a statement issued late Saturday night, the state police public relations officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said the police commissioner, Ahmed Ammani, has ordered the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter to unravel the circumstances surrounding their"sudden and unnatural death".
According to him,"preliminary investigation reveals that the said deceased persons went to bed the previous night and were not seen in the morning.
