Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that poor results are not entirely down to manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.Solskjaer has come under increasing pressure this season, with United picking up only 14 points from their opening eight fixtures.Ahead of the game, Ronaldo has defended Solskjaer and says that recent performances and results have as much to do with the players than the manager.
The 36-year-old told Sky Sports: “We have to [take responsibility]. To play for Manchester United and to be a coach of Manchester United you will always be criticised, and you have to accept that it’s part of the business to criticise you. “You play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, all eyes are on you and it is normal. You have to deal with it.“You have to deal with the pressure, the pressure is here, it will continue to be here when you win or lose and you have to deal with that. It is part of the job.”
