The Surulere Olorisa-Oko Community Development Association in the Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area of Lagos State has advised other CDAs to make their environment habitable by engaging in ome self-help projects.
The Chairman of the Surulere Olorisa-Oko CDA, Mr Babajide Lawal, stated this during the inauguration of the culvert that members of the CDA constructed at the Elewa junction. Lawal said the CDA embarked on project to complement the efforts of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He said the road which was on Elewa junction in the Surulere Erunwe Olorisa-Oko CDA, had been in a deplorable state, adding that when he became the chairman, he decided to drive the efforts in repairing the road , as well as building the culvert.
Lawal said, “We want to encourage other CDAs to do the same because we live here, government don’t live here with us.
