Maiden CNG vehicles unveiled in Kwara

CNG vehicles. Photo:radionigeria.gov.ngThe Kwara State government, yesterday, launched the conversion and installation of Compressed Natural Gas vehicles in Ilorin.

His words: “What we are witnessing today is the beginning of a new future, marking our new lifestyle.” Speaking earlier, Chief Executive Officer of Rolling Energy, Mubarak Danbata, enjoined Nigerians to embrace the Presidential Conversion of Natural Gas Initiative , which he described as the in-thing.

The coordinator of PCNGI, Michael Oluwagbemi, urged the citizenry to identify with and commend the President for his foresight and determination to take the country several miles into the future. To ensure the success of the programme, PCNGI said the rollout would commence in eight out of over 120 designated conversion workshop sites, with the partners having the opportunity to observe and evaluate the conversion process for germane feedback.
