Governor Umaru Bago has provided free transportation to school children across Niger State’s 25 council areas.

While unveiling the vehicles, Bago disclosed that in the next six months, another 1,000 buses would also be inaugurated, adding that all civil servants that would transit in the buses would enjoy discounts.

He revealed that approval has also been granted for the promotion of civil servants due for elevation. “This is just the beginning, there is so much for you to benefit from the present administration in the state. Rest assured that you are not alone, we feel for you, and we will always be there for you to play the role of motherhood,” she added.

She commended the First Lady for her kindness to the less privileged and charged wealthy individuals to emulate her.
