Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Air Force, Rep. Shehu Koko has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to extend her palliatives for COVID-19 to include suspension of payment of electricity and water bills for ordinary Nigerians for two months as a result of dwindling economic fortunes.

Koko said “Our Country is going through trying times just like the international communities. While we continue to pray for God to come to our rescue, I urge the Federal government to provide basic amenities like water and electricity at no cost especially those at the grassroots level without interruption.“This I believe will go a long way to assist the federal government’s decision to provide relief materials to citizens this period.

House rent dear senator, Nigeria don't have electricity and water.

And those using prepaid uko

dotuncoker NOTE

We provide our water and generate our electricity. The providers of this services has been extorting us for services they don't render.

Who's paying for water? We are providing our own water o

Were they supplying water before?

Just electricity for two months will be ok

Light bill on prepaid meter? Water bill on borehole or well? These guys representing Nigerians are totally out of touch with our realities. It’s exasperating!

These guys are mad haba

I swear Nigeria LAWMAKERS are very useless... Where is the electricity and water? We are paying for what we are not using before. Do we have electricity and water in Nigeria Useless set of people.

Is this lawmaker in Nigeria , who still pay those bills when we supply water by ourselves

Government still supply people water in this country?

Does Nigeria still own those entities. Have they not been privatised? Just asking

Good
