Traditional herbal medicine has potency to cure coronavirus - Ooni

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has urged Nigerians to explore potentials in herbal medicine for the cure of coronavirus.

“We should not condemn the alternative medical practitioner at this point in time. I attest to its potency, it has been used to cure many chronic diseases. As spiritual head, this pandemic was foretold last year June. It is to help humanity in Nigeria. Ooni also admonished Nigerians to learn from the worst-hit nations and also find means in keeping their environment clean and maintain good hygiene to curb the spread of coronavirus and other diseases.

” We are all stuck in this country, the rich, the poor and all are together. It is our country and we must strive to help one another.

Ooni, as a public figure, should be learned enough to know there are procedures to follow before making such claims publicly. Well, this is Nigeria.

On point sir. Only it will not be taken serious here. Traditional medicine has provided solutions to so many health conditions even the one considered ambiguous. Give me one tested positive for treatment. Herbs for the services of man (pslm 104-14).

All these traditional rulers should stop misleading people. Of the numerous ailments bedeviling society, why has traditional medicine not been able to deal with them convincingly? It's coronavirus of all things. These are the people that don't allow the whites take Africa serious
