Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong has disclosed plans to improve the welfare of National Youth Service Corps members on national assignment in the state.

It plans to acquire buses, provide befitting accommodation and contribute to the welfare of members serving on the Plateau at the permanent orientation camp in Mangu Council Area. He stated this during a visit of the state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Caroline Embu and her management team to Government House in Rayfield, Jos.

Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Tyoden, who welcomed Embu and her team on behalf of the governor, stated that proper plans have been made to ensure that corps members posted to the state get maximum security and welfare packages.
