However, the state counsel, Director of Public Prosecutions , Gbadebo Oshoala, told the court that the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyo Onigbanjo , sent a directive that having considered the remorsefulness of the three defendants, he had considered out-of-court settlement on conditions.
In her ruling, Magistrate Aje-Afunwa said: “Since the defendants have all agreed to comply with the conditions, they must be met or be seen to be met. Chief Magistrate Peter Ojo sentenced the defendants following their guilty plea to a one-count charge of the unlawful gathering. Meanwhile, three persons out of the violators pleaded not guilty and the magistrate ordered them to be quarantined as well for 14 days and adjourned till April 21, 2020, for their re-arraignment and trial.

Are you kidding us? Same offence but different penalties? They need to rescind Funke Akindele's punishment. This is unfair! Gbadamosi can't be in police cell for 1hr....the truth be told. Yes well connected home & abroad. Our laws are meant for the average and below, not for the extremely rich and well connected persons. I think the attorney general of Lagos state should observe this conditions too because he contravene the social distance law too when him and colleagues when briefing the media on the case.
