Dutse recidents in Jigawa State have gone spritual over low rainfall in the State which is posing serious threat to their farming activities.

Chief Imam of the Dutse Central Mosque, Dr. Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu led thousands of people to observe two raka’at prayer at Dutse Eids ground seeking for divine intervention. He blamed the high level of corruption, killings and other social vices within the society as the major factor responsible for some of the calamities.

Birnin Kudu called on people to mend their ways and go back to Allah in true repentance for Him to provide a better solution to the problem. DAILY POST spoke with farmers over the inadequate rainfall which had also disrupted the usual harvest period in the State.
