The Jigawa state Government has warned the beneficiaries of the COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) against sabotaging the objective. Technical Adviser on Agriculture and Chairman, NG-CARES, Dr Saifullahi Umar issued the warning while addressing some of the beneficiaries in Jahun Local Government Area.

The Jigawa state Government has warned the beneficiaries of the COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus against sabotaging the objective. Technical Adviser on Agriculture and Chairman, NG-CARES, Dr Saifullahi Umar issued the warning while addressing some of the beneficiaries in Jahun Local Government Area. Umar said the project was aimed at expanding access to livelihood support and food security services.

'The committee used multiple approaches in the selection of communities and beneficiaries consistent with approved guidelines of the NG CARES Project. 'The methods used were Generic Operations Manual , Jigawa Poverty and Vulnerability Community Ranking, and simple random selection technique. A total of 216 and 15 communities were selected.
