She said “the immigration service has moved from manual to electronic, for instance, we used to write passports by hand, everything is now digital so there is a lot of evolution.

“But, the challenge is that we need more funding because, if you get funding, the issue of booklet scarcity will be over then,we can have more offices opened, more machine supply for the passport production, and then our border management. “Since we have high-tech, we need it to be fully developed and all this entails money, then, the welfare of the officers needs to be attended to, and I am sure all these things come with funding.”All rights reserved.
