Imo Deputy Speaker Resigns, Nine Lawmakers Join APC

The Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Okey Onyekanma, has resigned his position.

He informed his colleagues that he has also resigned as the Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business. According to him, the plan gives the seat of the deputy speaker to a lawmaker from the same zone with the governor and considering the new leadership in the state, he is not from the same zone with the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

The lawmakers were formerly members of the Peoples Democratic Party , Action Alliance , and the All Progressives Grand Alliance .Others are Paul Emeziem , Ekene Nnodimele , Johnson Duru , Ngozi Obiefule , and Heclus Okoro .

I am not surprise about the AA members bcos their leader have since return to APC but those of PDP are shameless being who have no pedigree for sustainable principle as a leader.. Reasons why many names just despair after their tenure. What a shamble shame.

Politics to these men is business, who then will hold our leaders accountable?
