singer and rapper, Victor Ekpo, aka Sir Vic, has said that he usually gets inspiration for his songs from sermons., “I get my inspiration from the sermons I listen to and the Holy Bible. The style of my rap and my tone are unique. You would likely never meet another African gospel singer that sounds like I do.”

Speaking on his reason for choosing music, the singer said, “It is my natural talent. I have been singing since I was little. I remember I sold my phones several times to raise money to pay producers for instrumentals I liked even when I never got to use those beats. I can do anything for music. “I am a practising Christian and devoted church guy. My parents gave me that background and as I grew, I switched from singing secular music to fully gospel. Like I said in my song,“Some like to call me a pastor but I’m not. I just draw inspiration from the deep thoughts and wisdom that can be found in Christian scriptures.”

The Akwa Ibom-born singer also stated that he was ‘in a hurry to publish these songs having been in the trenches for years unheard’.All rights reserved. Of Kalu’s advice to Kanu - Punch NewspapersThe most widely read newspaper in Nigeria War mongering...2021 calls for a civilised democratic approach. USSR wars were more deadly and gory but in the end they opted for a better option. Dialogue and diplomacy. Suppression is not the solution to self-determination question. Nationhood is built by give and take. The irony of life is that those whom we thought that are in the know are completely irresponsibly cowards to stand up for what is right and stupidly shy away from the truth ! Let me remind everyone here again: Referendum is not war. People deserve the right to choose they path they want.
