Gov Abiodun wins Independent Newspapers Governor Of The Year (Tech Innovation) Award

Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has won the Independent Newspapers Governor of the Year award for the year 2023. The award was presented to the governor, who was ably represented by his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, with former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba as chairman.

In addition the administration of Governor Abiodun also established the Ogun Tech Hub, while it has also put in place, the 'Light Up Ogun State' project, which is meant to provide electricity to the nooks and crannies of the state. The governor is also deploying technology to fight crimes in the state with the commissioning of a top grade drone by the Inspector General of Police recently.
