The Federal Road Safety Corps has said that its officers were not involved in the cause of the crash along Ogunusi Road, Grammar School Bus Stop, Lagos State.

The Lagos State Police Command has since arrested the unnamed driver, adding that investigation had commenced into the incident. In a statement the Sector Commander in the state, Olusegun Ogungbemide, said the articulated truck lost control, resulting in the death of “unverified number of students and leaving many injured.”
