The House of Representatives ad hoc Committee investigating non implementation of pay-as-you-go package by DSTV and other satellite..

The House of Representatives ad hoc Committee investigating non implementation of pay-as-you-go package by DSTV and other satellite providers in the country has assured Nigerians of justice.

Idem, also Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Communication, representing Ukanafun/Orukanam Constituency of Akwa-Ibom, said the matter before the committee affected vast majority of Nigerians. “When I moved the motion on the floor of the house, I stated that business of this nature, the customers should be given the right to choose what they want.“We have interacted with Nigerians and what they want is pay-as-you-go so that when they are out in their respective locations, their subscriptions can be there and they will make use of it when they return.

Edem said the committee was ready to step on toes, saying that constituents elected reps based on courage and boldness and that would be brought to play.

I hope this work. Because in Nigeria, we only have plans but to implement is our problem

As done everywhere.. And Nigerians hardly have light..why pay for a month

Better late than never, pls expedite actions to speak louder than words

Since when.....liar

That's not enough! Break the monopoly! Period

Night use afternoon take come!

Story story upon stories! Nothing will be done

You've said this too many times that Nigerians don't believe you again. Act now as Nigerians continue to be cheated by the DSTV.

Give us our own oO! Allow made in Naija paytv, Allow TSTV to give us the very best of our local contents.

Bestest news today. Olorun a fun yin se.

That will be the best ever, even black berry subscription won't measure it...

This is long overdue, the exploitation from DSTV is unimaginable

There is no welcome development in this, is just a false information

Yes. Nigerians are been suffered unjustifiably, ripped off our hard earnings. To enjoy their services once connected double payment electricity and fuel.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 they want their own palliative from DStv.

This will be nice bcos DStvNg is really reaping Nigerians off

It's getting late.

I hope this comes through

This ll be a great achievement

Better; this lockdown has opened my eyes to see what DSTV provide as services and collect billions from us all every month. They repeat and recycle and the same programs and movies.Nothing new, except reality shows and news. The whole stuff is full of JOBING us.

If HouseNGR and NGRSenate do this for us we will be glad

Why not build a local company to rival them? We can't! Gestapo attitude like this only frightens foreign investment. Satellite TV is a luxury item. The House should fix the price of gari, rice, etc. If you can pay for DStv watch NTA.

I’ll be happy 😃 about it but we will see

What is this one even saying sef , DStv that just increased tariff hahahaha

Them go wreck if them try am o, no light in nigeria

Fantastic

Please help us to make this work.

Can't wait for this

Gud to hear this. But speedy action wld be d best. GoTV inclusive.

The reps will collect bribe and leave the motion

Welcome Development.

It's has been long we have been hearing this

That will be a miracle if its done

It's should be completely implemented and shouldn't end on radio, tv stations and social media.

Impossible...not this Buhari's HouseNGR that will be bribed.

Please they should hurry up to implement it as soon as possible. It will be a welcome development.
