The Church of the Lord (Prayer Fellowship) has condemned the rising spate of insecurity in the country.

This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of its 2022 annual general conference of the church’s Arch Nigerian province held between May 7 and 8 in 2022, at the church’s headquarters in Ogere Remo, Ogun State.

The conference, which had the theme, ‘Divine Protection’, was attended by delegates representing all the ecclesiastical provinces that make up the arch province. Expressing concern over the parlous security situation in the country, the communiqué read, “Conference expressed serious concern over the pathetic and worsening security situation in the country and called for the review of the security architecture of the nation. It stressed the need for government at all levels to combat insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and wanton destruction of lives and properties, and all forms of violence.
