Central African countries have applauded the approach being taken by the Nigerian President Bola Tinubu's leadership of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to restore democracy in the Republic of Niger. The countries pledged their support for ECOWAS. The countries gave their support on Tuesday when a Special Envoy of President Ali Bongo Ondimba and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Gabon, Mr. Hermann Immongault, visited President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
