popularly known as Solid Star, was recently alleged to have been publicly embarrassed in Badagry, Lagos, when he refused to perform at an event he had been paid for., the singer stated that the organisers of the event were actually the ones who breached their contract. He said, “There was a breach of contract by organisers of the show despite an agreement we had that the balance of my fees would be paid at the event centre before I stepped on the stage.

Expressing confidence that he would one day win a Grammy award, he said, “Getting a Grammy award would not seem like a big deal to me because I have always known that I would win it. All my albums have been successful, except for the last one, The Life, which I released on my own and did not promote in Nigeria because I needed to sort out some personal issues. However, people around the are loving and buying the album.

On artistes he would like to work with, the singer said, “I would love to feature 2Baba, Timaya, Tiwa Savage, and Flavour. Although I have had collaborations with some of them, I would still love to work with them at any given chance. I would also like to collaborate with some foreign artistes, such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys and TY Dolla Sign.”
