The Nation Newspaper Alleged terrorism: Court to rule Miyetti Allah leader’s bail request, May 30

in Abuja has scheduled ruling for May 30 in the application for bail filed by detained leader of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo.Bodejo, now being held in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency was on March 22 arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja for allegedly establishing an unlawful ethnic militia group – Kungiya Zaman Lafiya.

The lawyer said the group was launched in public, with the police, the Department of State Services and the Nasarawa State government represented at the event. It stressed that Bodejo was charged with terrorism-related offences, for establishing an ethnic militia in Nasarawa State, managing and participating in activities connected with acts prejudicial to national security and public safety.
