I am fed up with my state ranking so low in education and women’s health care. I am voting with the Democrats this year.Re: “Voter Fraud Case Is a Travesty of Justice — The system worked, Crystal Mason’s provisional vote didn’t count, so prosecution should end,” Wednesday editorial.editorial board, but I read it every morning and occasionally see something that points to a grave injustice. Most recent is the story about Crystal Mason, who claims to have illegally voted unintentionally.
He includes four vital steps: At arrival, 1. Check for a criminal record with their native country. 2. Check for existing diseases with medical professionals. 3. Check to see if a sponsor family has requested taking in immigrants. Then, within two years, 4. check for arrests, a residence and a job each quarter and only then provide full citizenship.Re: “DART eyes budget reductions — Some hope spending shifts will signal agency listening amid talk of revenue cuts,” Aug. 18 Metro story.
