The Salvation Army began its annual donation drive on Monday to prepare for another demanding season of need.
DOTHAN, Ala. -
“We have found that we are receiving more requests for assistance than ever before,” Major Linda Payton of the Salvation Army in Dothan said. “Many people are still struggling to make ends meet.” Last year, the organization provided over 4,708 Christmas gifts to area children and supplied food pantry and utility assistance to over 1,250 families.
