Police have released an image of the car they believe belongs to the suspect who fired the bullet that killed Ayden Burt. The Texas teacher and coach was hit an
d killed by a stray bullet while at the Smoke Skybar off I-37 near downtown.
CrimeStoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Burt's murder is one of three fatal incidents to happen downtown this summer and some businesses told us their customers are getting fearful. The councilwoman is also part of the city's Public Safety Committee. She said councilmembers and city leaders are not waiting to discuss a topic this urgent.
This is a move Danny Alarcon with Kunstler Brewing said can help build trust with those who might be hesitant to come downtown.
